Finding your award
Your award depends on your employer’s industry and the work you do. It should be named in your contract or on your payslip. If you are not sure, use the Fair Work Ombudsman’s pay guides. Public servants and defence force members are paid under their own agreements; see public sector pay scales.
Rates are adult minimums from the Fair Work Ombudsman pay guides published 24 June 2026. Junior, apprentice and trainee rates are lower. Not legal advice.
