Using the calculators

The calculators are free and need no account. Results are estimates for general information, based on the rates and assumptions set out on the methodology page. They are not tax, financial or legal advice; see the disclaimer.

Accuracy

We check rates against official sources and test the calculations, but we can’t guarantee that every result is complete, current or correct for your situation. Decisions you make using the site are your responsibility. Please report any error you find through the contact page.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Australia Pay Calculator is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its results. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Acceptable use

Please don’t present results from this site as official ATO figures, interfere with the site’s operation, or copy it in bulk by automated means.

The payslip generator is for employers recording pay they have actually made, and for employees checking their pay. Don’t use it to create a payslip that is false or misleading, for example to support a loan, rental or visa application. Giving a payslip you know is false or misleading is unlawful.

Text and design on this site belong to Australia Pay Calculator. Statistics from the Australian Bureau of Statistics are used under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence. Rates and rules quoted from the ATO, the Fair Work Ombudsman and state governments remain the material of those agencies.
